MYTH NO 1. All introverts are shy — and all shy people are introvert people.
FACT-They are Reserved.
Shyness has nothing to do with introversion. They just avoid being in a large group which doesn’t mean they are afraid to socialize. Start a conversation and notice how friendly they are with you.
#MYTH NO 2. Introvert people don’t like to talk.
FACT-They speak selectively.
While people just verbalize anything that comes to their mind, Introverts speak selectively. And, they love to talk. Talk to them on a good topic, or they are passionate about and they won’t shut up for days.
#MYTH NO 3. They want to be alone.
FACT- They value and thrive in alone time.
Yes, they live in their own thoughtful world, but they don’t want to be alone all the time. They believe in making few friends. They are comfortable in sincere connection with one person at a time.
#MYTH NO 4. Introverts can’t speak in public, they don’t make good leaders or public speakers.
FACT- They might actually appear to be an upper hand over extroverts.
The reason being they think a lot before the act, and so you can expect great preparation from them. They enjoy and excel being a public speaker.

FACT-They are quietly complacent.
No, they are not depressed or arrogant people because they like being alone. Spending time with yourself does not necessarily mean you are depressed. They spend more time thinking and analyzing things which could lead to depression (not everytime). Ask close friends of introverts and they will tell you how energetic these people are.

FACT- They pay close attention to the inner self.
Aloof nerds means unsympathetic, or supercilious in manner. They look inward since they find their inner world more arousing than the outer world. This does not make them incapable of understanding what’s going around them. C’mon peeps, let’s not be so harsh.

FACT- They are equally intelligent.
If you observe them, they have a fountain of knowledge. Quietness does not equal stupidity, neither does loudness equal intelligence. And, when it comes to making friends. They may have a few selected friends, but they are extremely loyal and committed to them.

FACT- What you call arrogance and rudeness are their social cautiousness and selectively social.
Since the picture of introverts is an aloof person, people misunderstand them. They neither dislike you nor hate you. They are just socially cautious to you or maybe they want to keep things to themselves. So respect them!.
So, do you like people beating around the bush? No. Introverts can sometimes be blunt because of small disinterested talk. They rarely intentionally are rude.

FACT- You cannot identify an introvert person.
Introverts are very good in behaving like an extrovert. An introvert just like an extrovert can be a party animal. They may just be like you and why not, even they like socializing. But, at the end of the day, they just want to shut down everything and spend some time alone.
